Financial Accountant Analyst (German and English)
Our Client is building a Shared Service Centre for its European Finance, Customer service and Procurement functions. The role is to ensure timely and accurate preparation and review of statutory accounts, esp. AP/AR for assigned entities /Business Units in the country supported by the team.
Tasks
- preparation and support for period close
- timely response to queries raised on accounts and other analyses
- reporting and control activities to assure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the country supported
- support, prepare and review draft statutory accounts, documents and queries for period close
- prepare documents for monthly, quarterly and year-end close
- ensure full reconciliations from ledgers to statutory accounts and inracompany alignment
- preparation and compiling of account analysis as well as deviation analysis
- ensure obligations under the Balance Sheet Integrity standard, and prepare ledger reconciliations on a timely and accurate basis
- handle and monitor queries
- reconcile corresponding company codes
- handle HR and other special accounts, shareholders' loans, default
Requirements
- educated to Master degree
- financial accounting / close experience
- fluent German and English
- Qualified, or experienced part qualified accountant
- very good level of analytical skills, numeracy and financial awareness
